We all need inspiration from someone or something. It doesn’t have to amount to hero-worship or idolising someone, but typical we all look up to someone as a kind of role-model. This might be Mum or Dad, Grandparents, authors, actors, sports stars, and on and on.

I know that I have always looked up to people, ever since I was young, and I still do it now. If I come out of a movie that I really liked or related to then for the next week I’ll start acting like that person. I am sure you can relate in some way?

My latest video is the Beach Primal Workout:

These two video’s have had a very positive response, with many people applauding me for helping to “Get people out of the gym and back into nature.” Of course, as with everything that seems to be “new” it has had it’s critics. In this blog post I wanted to explain to people exactly what my workouts are, and what they are not.

A couple of days ago I posted my first Outdoor Workout Video onto YouTube – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_vfFxgQjUQ and decided that it would be a good idea to introduce people to my influences and my motivation around this type of training. After all, it’s not the “normal” type of workout that most people are used to! This in itself I find odd – the fact that my type of training is classified as abnormal, and training in gyms, wearing shoes, and using artificial materials would be “normal” in most people’s vocabulary.

When it comes to trends in fitness and healthcare, there’s more than I could count on a few pairs of hands – Weights, Aerobics, Triathlon Training, Swiss Balls, Resistance Bands, Vibration Plates, Yoga, Pilates, and the list goes on.

Do all of these work to get results for clients?
